St. Daniel Comboni Hospital-Kyamuhunga is Private Not for Profit Hospital Located 75km from Mbarara town on Mbarara – Kasese Highway and 15km away from Bushenyi District Headquarters. It is a Roman Catholic based institution in Mbarara Archdiocese accredited to UCMB. It was started in 1994 by Fr. Paulino Tomaino a Comboni missionary in Uganda as a HC II and later gazetted as a hospital in May 1996 with the capacity of 100 beds.

The hospital operates in pursuit of the good of the entire community, individual persons and the sick as its services are committed to a holistic approach in healing by treating, preventing and promoting health. The hospital provides its services in fulfillment of the mission of the Roman Catholic Church and its functionality is geared towards core values in accordance with the National hospital policy of the Republic of Uganda.

The hospital continues to offer integrated services among which are: antenatal services, diagnostic, eMTCT, medical, postnatal, natural family planning, HIV/AIDS and related illnesses, major and minor operations, outpatient and inpatient services, imaging, Diabetic and hypertensive services, ambulance services etc.
